Mrs Knox and the Good Time Boys are based in Penrith, Cumbria. They started out playing Jug Band and Appalachian music but have widened their repertoire to suit different audiences. The playlists consist of 1920s American Good Time songs, Blues and hits from the 50s.
Under the matriarchal eye of vocalist Mrs Knox, the guys are kept in some sort of order: Joe Blythe on guitar and vocals; Keith Knox on mandolin; Tom Corda-Stanley on double bass; Sue Blythe on banjo; and Mitch on harmonica and accordion. Famous already in their own Penrith backyard, they are now ready to take to the road with a bagful of good time music. If you're looking for something different for your wedding, private party or event this unique band will probably fit the bill! Contact us to discuss your requirements. |
